Cavendish Lodge Cottages
How do I book online & search for availability?
Online booking allows our guests to book 24/7, year-round. We get some questions from time to time, mostly from guests trying to search for availability in specific cottages.
Here’s a step by step approach to booking online:
Step 1 – Visit http://cavendishlodge.com/ and select the BOOK NOW BUTTON. Identify the dates you are looking for.
Step 2 – If you are looking for dates in July or August. We suggest that you select the availability link and scroll over the monthly calendar to see what unit types are available on your preferred dates and what restrictions apply (3 or 5 night minimums apply depending on the unit type).
Step 3 – Select your preferred dates. The system will identify the room types that are available on those dates. Select your preferred unit and proceed with booking. Please note there are night minimums for all units during the months of July and August. If you are requesting two nights and a 3 night minimum is in effect, it will show up as unavailable unless we happen to have a 1 or 2 night opening by chance.

What are of the hours of operation of the front office?
Our front office hours are from 9:00am until 6:00pm (July & August). Hours of operation in the off-season are 9:00am – 5:00pm. If you will be arriving after 6:00pm please contact us at 1-800-963-2553 or [email protected] to arrange a later check-in.
Where is Cavendish Lodge & Cottages located?
We are located in the heart of the Cavendish Resort Area at 9040 Cavendish RD. Walking distance to Boardwalk shopping, grocery store, restaurants, Shining Waters,
Sandspit ,Cavendish Beach Adventure Zone, Room Espace, Black Magic Black Light Mini Golf and 2-minute drive to Ripley’s Believe it or not, Wax world, Tim Hortons, Anne of green gables, Cavendish beach and 4 Golf Courses. It is very convenient for your stay with us..
What amenities do the cottages have?
We have total 17 units including 15 detached cottages and 2 apartments in lodge. All units feature air conditioning, flat TV, full kitchen and private bathroom, all your bed linens, fresh bath towels delivered daily, pots, pans, plates, glasses, and all cooking utensils, deck with table & chairs and a propane BBQ. Just bring your groceries and stay!
We offer Free WIFI & Free parking for you. Heated pool, 2 playgrounds with various outdoor games for kids and adults available on site also, such as sand volleyball court, basketball area, sandboxes, swings and 1 outdoor fire pit for every three units.
Can I walk to the beach?
Yes! We are a 30 minute walk to the beach and a 6 minute drive into the Cavendish National Park.
Do you allow pets?
We do not accept pets from June 23 to September 3. We will consider small well-behaved pets outside non-Pet window.
$20.00 per night per pet applied outside non-Pet window
All pets must be reported at time of booking or confirmed prior to arrival.
What are your check in and check out times
Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is 10 am. If you would be arriving outside those times, please contact us at 1-800-963-2553 or [email protected]
What payment method do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Cash and e-transfers. Please note that Final Payment is due in full at time of check-in.
What is the deposit required to book?
A deposit of one night rental is required for each cottage at time of booking. Balance is due upon arrival date.
What is your noise/damage policy?
We ask our guests to be respectful of their neighbours. Excessive noise is not tolerated and if we receive any complaints from other guests, a warning will be given. If excessive noise continues and a second warning is given, a disturbance fee may be applied to your credit card. The same policy is in place if the cottage has incurred any damage during your stay with us and a damage fee will be applied to your credit card. No stag or stagette parties accepted. Please respect quiet times from 11pm to 8am.
What will the weather be like?
Spring is comfortable. Late May and early June are alive with colour and temperatures usually range from 8 to 22°C (46 to 71°F). Summer is hot, but rarely humid. We wear short sleeves. Daytime temperatures are usually in the 20s (70s) and can go as high as 32°C (90°F).
Autumn is clear and bright. September afternoons can be quite warm, evenings cool. Temperatures range from 8 to 22°C (46 to 71°F). Winter is crisp and clean. Temperatures usually range from -3 to -11°C (26 to 11°F).
Do you allow tents or trailers to be set up beside our cottage?
Cavendish Lodge & Cottages do not allow tents or trailers to be parked overnight on the rental properties. This policy will be enforced by the Cavendish Resort Municipality,there are no exceptions to this policy
Where is the closest Grocery Store?
Cavendish Tourist Mart offers convenience grocery shopping (5 minute drive). There is also a grocery store located in North Rustico (10 minute drive).
What is the cancellation policy for Cavendish Lodge & Cottages?
Cancellation up to 14 days before your arrival date will result in a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation 14 days or less before the arrival date will result in forfeiting your deposit.
For Cavendish Beach Music Festival reservation, a $500 Non-refundable deposit is required for each cottage at time of booking and Non-refundable balance is due by May 5th
